    Gentle Rain Baffles Scientists

    A gentle rain fell today across much of the world, though not an unusually large part of it. Scientists who live and die based on research grants were baffled and disappointed. They had been counting on continued normal rain to convince the world they are tracking freak weather and global climate change.

    Studies indicate the upper safety limit for atmospheric CO2 is 350 parts per million (ppm). Atmospheric CO2 levels have stayed higher than 350 ppm since early 1988.
